Our story began in 1995 with the founding of Weimer Messtechnik by Reinhard Weimer. His goal: to provide high-precision solutions in the field of laser interferometry in Germany — including as a distribution partner of Keysight Technologies.

Weimer Messtechnik
For more than three decades, the company has been a reliable partner for high-precision laser interferometry systems in Germany — with a focus on Keysight’s dual-frequency laser interferometer.
Raytec Systems AG
After 20 years as a distribution partner, our group acquired the long-established Raytec Systems AG in Switzerland in 2017. Since then, we have been not only a sales partner, but also the development and production partner for the GEPARD laser alignment system.
Markus Weimer Messtechnik
To consistently expand activities around Raytec and the GEPARD system, Markus Weimer Messtechnik was founded in 2017. The company focuses on the further development, service, and distribution of Raytec products — as well as on tailor-made solutions for industrial precision alignment.
Our Vision
In the coming years, Weimer Messtechnik will be fully integrated into Markus Weimer Messtechnik. This way, we will continue our corporate mission — which began in 1995 — under one modern, clear roof and with a strong brand.
